Yuric's journey bridges technology, education, and global impact. He earned his B.A. in Economics and Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and later completed his MBA in International Marketing and Finance at the University of San Francisco, a Jesuit institution known for its mission-driven approach to leadership.

After graduating, Yuric joined the U.S. Peace Corps and spent two years teaching Math and Physics in a remote Kenyan village — an experience that reshaped his understanding of access, opportunity, and innovation. Returning to the United States, he built a decades-long career in Silicon Valley, where he became a product management leader riding the waves of multiple technological revolutions. His work contributed to several industry firsts, including DSL internet technology, Intuit's QuickBooks, the Palm VII—the world's first handheld wireless device—and Vietnam's first prepaid Visa card.

While working in Vietnam, Yuric encountered a deeply personal problem: sending his U.S. salary home was slow, expensive, and dependent on an informal, outdated network. What seemed like a small personal inconvenience revealed itself to be a $19 billion global challenge affecting millions of families. This moment inspired his mission to build a better, more equitable financial bridge between people and their homelands.

As a Distinguished Innovation Fellow, Yuric now seeks to harness the power of blockchain technology, cross-border collaboration, and the vast expertise of the ASU community to reimagine how money moves around the world—making remittance faster, fairer, and truly human-centered.
