Sarayu Goorisetti

Sarayu Goorisetti is a student at Arizona State University pursuing a double major in Business Data Analytics and Economics at the W. P. Carey School of Business. She serves as the coordinator for the Women’s Power and Influence Index (WPI), a unique honors thesis pathway for Barrett Honors College students. Sarayu leads a team of passionate honors students working to develop the WPI—a data-driven tool that quantifies inequality and ranks companies based on women's representation and influence. 

She is also a core team member of Recipe Root, a community-centered food justice platform that was launched after her team won The Difference Engine’s Creative Justice Lab in October 2024. Sarayu is passionate about using analytics and innovation to advance equity and impact.
