Margaret To
Margaret To (she/her) is an interdisciplinary artist and filmmaker based in unceded Tataviam and Chumash territory (Santa Clarita). Her passion in art and activism led her to found Studio SAKA , a creative studio focused on social justice and environmental education, with clients including TED-Ed, Greenpeace, UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability, Center for Food Safety, Cornell University, and Re:wild. She also co-founded From Soil To Soul, a documentary series and community initiative exploring equitable, local, and culturally-rooted food solutions. As the Chapter Co-lead for Climate Designers Los Angeles for the past six years, she co-produces events ranging from local meetups and screenings to day-long art festivals, and curates climate resources, jobs, and volunteer opportunities for the greater LA creative community.
