Malina Patel

Malina is an honors student at Arizona State University pursuing a B.S. in Biological Sciences with minors in Business Administration and Psychology. With a career goal of becoming an optometrist, she is committed to advancing compassionate, community-informed healthcare.

In addition to her role on the Women’s Power and Influence Index team—where she supports research and storytelling to highlight influential women leaders—she serves as a Community Assistant at Hassayampa Academic Village and conducts research with the Mathematical Neuro-Oncology Lab at Mayo Clinic. She also volunteers in the Nursing OR and Emergency Department at HonorHealth, where she gains firsthand experience connecting with patients and supporting clinical care.
