Leslie Young, MD

Dr. Leslie Young is a UCLA-trained pediatrician based in California who has been in clinical practice since 1999, with more than two decades of experience caring for children and advising families on growth, development, and preventive health. In addition to his medical practice, he has been a computer programmer since 1987, developing software in six programming languages, including Kotlin, reflecting a longstanding interest in applying technology to real-world problems in healthcare. He is also an Epic super user who has trained hundreds of physicians to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their use of the electronic health record. Through the combination of clinical expertise, software development experience, and physician training, Dr. Young brings a multidisciplinary perspective to healthcare innovation, workflow optimization, and the design of technology-driven solutions that improve patient care and health system performance.
