Ellie Moran

Ellie Moran (she/her) is the co-founder of Verdantt Fresh, a start-up dedicated to reducing household food waste and increasing access to fresh produce. She leads the app development team and helps with marketing efforts.Ellie is a recent graduate of Arizona State University and Barrett, the Honors College, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. She currently works as a Water Engineer at Jacobs in Miami, Florida, designing water infrastructure while continuing to grow Verdantt Fresh.Through Verdantt Fresh, Ellie is helping develop technology that enables users to track fresh food, reduce waste, and build healthier habits at home. She is passionate about bridging engineering, sustainability, and consumer technology to create practical solutions that improve both individual well-being and the future of our food system.
