Dr. Jessica Hirschorn
Dr. Jessica Hirshorn is a Teaching Professor of Organizational Leadership at Arizona State University. With more than two decades of teaching experience, she is recognized for her innovative approaches to curriculum design and experiential learning. Her teaching and research focus on intercultural leadership and international education.
Dr. Hirshorn is the author of Rocket: A Simulation on Intercultural Teamwork, developed from her research at NASA's Johnson Space Center, and co-creator of Space Quest: A Cultural Awareness Game by EI Games, which earned second place in the 2022 Serious Games competition (higher education category).
Her current project for ASU's DIF program centers on developing a gamified assessment tool to accompany textbooks and course materials. Designed as a fun and interactive way for students to apply their learning, the prototype encourages authentic problem-solving and offers instructors an engaging, integrity-focused approach to evaluation.
