Amira Abboud is an alumni of Arizona State University, where she earned her degree in Finance and Accounting from the W. P. Carey School of Business and Barrett, The Honors College. Her academic focus included accounting, finance, and data analytics. During her time at ASU, Amira contributed to The Difference Engine as a research assistant for the Women’s Power and Influence Index, applying data analytics and company research to build an accessible, objective tool measuring women’s power in the workplace. She also served as a teaching assistant for the Human Event course at Barrett, guiding students through complex literary themes and helping them develop strong analytical writing skills. Amira is currently seeking internship opportunities in accounting, finance, or investment where she can apply her analytical skills and business knowledge to drive meaningful impact.
