Sahar Khan

Sahar Khan joined the Difference Engine as a Management Fellow supporting the Executive Director in managing the day-to-day operations of the Engine.

She comes to the Difference Engine with a strong background in non-profit and community organizing and had most recently spent some time in the tech space working for Airbnb. She's worked for various domestic organizations in NYC across the policy, global education, public education with an expertise in strategy, research, and data management. She co-founded a global education organization in 2017 to support grassroots education equity organizations globally. She currently resides in LA doing grassroots organizing work with the local Muslim community.

She holds a B.A. in Economics and Human Rights from CUNY Hunter College in New York City.
