Mastercard Ranked as a Pacesetter on the Women’s Power and Influence Index

Friday, December 1, 2023 - 09:43

Today, The Difference Engine is excited to announce the newest ranking on the Women’s Power and Influence Index! Mastercard has earned the title “PACESETTER” for their dedication to gender equity in the workplace. For this ranking, our researchers analyzed Mastercard’s publicly released data and EEOC reports. As a “PACESETTER,” Mastercard has transparency regarding its pay equity practices, women’s professional development, and women’s mentorship programs.

Here are some of the key highlights from our findings:

- Pay Equity: Mastercard has announced that it has achieved gender pay equity!

- Professional Development: Through its program Women Who Lead, Mastercard’s women employees can network with each other and discuss leadership strategies.

- Caregiver Paid Time Off: Mastercard provides 16 weeks of paid parental leave for its employees.

Although Mastercard has some truly great programs, it lacks transparency for some of our criteria. Our researchers could not find information regarding Mastercard’s commitment to women’s recruitment efforts or childcare benefits.
